The Beginning
Terri Murdoch-Coyle is the founder of JennaVIVA. As a veteran of the SA fashion industry culminating in executive directorship of one of SA's top fashion retailers, Terri's legacy of innate good taste, savvy design intellect, '6th sense' conceptual ability and proven track record of getting things done acted as an inner compass directing her to experiment with her own ideas and concepts. She is the creator and owner of one of the Helderberg's most beautiful guest lodges, the 5 Star SW1 Luxury Guest Retreat and Spa. Enjoyed by up-market international and local travelers this lodge is testament to Terri's intrinsic design talent and ability to merge many different styles and elements into a harmonious tableau of ideas and space.
When passing by the badly burnt structure at 206 Main Road in Somerset West, Terri felt compelled to buy it.
"There was something sad yet dignified about this old burned girl. I knew that she could be beautiful again. I wanted to be part of bringing her back to life."
So the near derelict building was bought and that was the beginning of what was to become JennaVIVA home concepts, eatery and cocktail lounge.
Nic Dupper joined the MC Group in late 2011 as CEO . His many years experience in the hospitality industry , his astute business acumen and his finely tuned customer service ethic has resulted in significant improvements to JennaVIVA and the other MC businesses Nic leads.
