The menu is small and carefully compiled using only the best of local and imported ingredients. Equally special is our list of wines and cocktails.

In a few short years JennaVIVA has become a lively and sought after venue for people wishing to experience rustic food with a modern twist in warm, sophisticated, yet casual surroundings. We have been featured in several foodie publications and featured on local television. Even in our infancy we are regarded as one of Somerset West’s more stylish dining and meeting places.

And, as the old adage goes "The proof is in the eating..."

Oh yes ... given that our kitchen is small and our meals are individually prepared and not pre-prepared, we ask you please to sit back and enjoy our music, wine and the company you’re with and allow our chefs 20 to 30 minutes to create a superb meal for you.

Business Lunches

We are a perfect venue for that PRONTO business lunch when you want great food together with efficient seamless service. We promise to get you in and out in an hour IF that's what you want.

If you prefer to linger longer, well we can turn down the heat and still give you great food and service.

We can also accommodate you in our Cocktail Lounge & Wine Bar if you require a more private setting.

Functions

We offer our a la carte menu or various set menu choices, depending on your budget. We don't charge a venue hire provided our minimum number requirements are met – 50 minimum for the restaurant and 30 minimum for the Cocktail Lounge. Minimum of 80 people for the whole venue.

Sources of supply

Huge effort goes into sourcing fresh product daily from the Helderberg and Boland region. We use only fresh and often organic products. Building close relations with our key suppliers matters to us. We endeavour to apply our 40km rule - we give preference to suppliers within within a 40km radius of Somerset West. For us "local is lekker".

Specialist Coffees

Our CuturaCoffee is the best in the S'West. We offer an irresistible menu of coffee varieties. Get heady on the great coffee smell and then let us impress you with the taste.

Teas

We are also serious about our teas and here at JennaVIVA a veritable China Sea, er sorry tea, supply can be found. Served in quality china tea cups with your own tea pot so that you can enjoy your tea the way you like it - hot, fresh and well brewed.

Confectionary

Our pastries, cakes and confectionaries are baked fresh every day throughout the day. Every day our chefs add inspirational confectionary items to delight you. Enjoy these sitting in our eclectic eatery or as a to-go item to share at home.

Wines

We pride ourselves on our focussed wine list that favours Helderberg, Overberg and Boland wines.
